Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators via public information points and event-based activities. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on commonly abused substances, with particular attention to cannabis, often cited as Europe’s news europawahl most commonly used illicit drug. Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
